Fees and Rebates

Fees are calculated on a sliding scale based on your income. ​

Rowena’s philosophy is that quality psychological services be available to everyone regardless of income. If you are experiencing ‘financial hardship' and have a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP,  please discuss this with Rowena.

A referral is not required to schedule an appointment. However, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $145.25 per session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year if you obtain a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP or Psychiatrist (for further information see Better Access Initiative).

You may also be eligible for rebates from your participating private health fund depending on your level of cover. Please consult with your private health Insurer.
