How to arrange an appointment​

Please contact this service direct to arrange an appointment.  Your enquiry will be responded to as soon as possible but allow up to 2 working days for a reply. A referral is not required to schedule an appointment.

Medicare Rebate

You may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $145.25 per session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year if you obtain a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP or Psychiatrist (for further information see Better Access Initiative). Please discuss with your GP. ​​

Private Health Insurance

Your Private Health Fund may offer rebates for psychological services. Private Health Funds differ in how many sessions they will rebate and the amount of rebate. Please contact your Health Fund if you have any questions.

Fees

​Sessions are 50 mins

​

Standard Psychology                      $215:00  (Increase to $220 on 01.04.26)

Concession (Health Care Card)     $195:00  (Increase to $200 on 01.04.26)

NDIS and Workcover - please enquire with this service.

Cancellation Fees:

Less than 24hrs notice prior to your appointment - 50% of the full fee.

Within 3hrs of your appointment or a no-show - full fee

Affordability

Rowena’s philosophy is that quality psychological services be available to everyone regardless of income. If you are experiencing ‘financial hardship' and have a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP,  please discuss with Rowena. A fee scale based on income is available for low income earners. Bulk billing is not available at this practice.
